Encyclopedia of Texas Hold'em odds (Excel version)

This spreadsheet lays out a comprehensive list of the odds and probablilities of poker in methodical order.  It is an interactive Excel spreadsheet that is designed to be usable during an online poker game. Each starting hand has its own worksheet that catalogues the following:

* Win chance vs any other starting hand, including the odds of a split pot.

* Win chance vs defined hand ranges.

* Win chance vs groups of hands.

* Win chance vs more than one opponent.

* The chances of improving on the flop.

* The chances of encountering various scenarios on the flop.

* The chances of improving on the Turn and the River.

There are hyperlinks throughout the book that enable you to easily and conveniently find the information you need quickly.

Encyclopedia of Texas Hold'em odds (pdf version)

Exactly the same book as above, but in pdf version designed to be printed hard copy. Each hand has 2 pages, making a 338 book of poker odds! As a consequence, it is unlikely that you would be able to use this book during an online game. It is designed as a study aid, giving you all the information you need when studying your play. There are no utilities attached to the book as these are designed to be used within Microsoft Excel.

Pot odds Ready Reckoner

A very simple tool to calculate your pot odds to call a bet. The pot odds are also converted to the win chance% you will need to break even on this scenario. There is also a section which illustrates what pot odds you will offer to subsequent opponents when calling or raising.

Profit/Loss calculator for raising

A tool that evaluates whether you will make a long term profit or loss by raising in a given situation, by imagining the given situation is replayed 100 times.  You need to enter your stack size, the size of the big blind and antes, the percentage of the time you expect to get called, and your win chance% when you get called.

The program then generates an average profit/loss in number of chips, and also as a percentage of your original raise. It also calculates how often you will bust out of the tournament if you are all in and the smallest stack.

There is also a separate calculator that does the same calculation assuming that more than one player calls your raise.

ICM equity calculator (6 handed)

Tournament play differs from cash game play in that the scenario is not usually winner takes all- a standard sit and go payout structure, for example, might be 50% for first, 30% for second and 20% for third. Therefore by winning 100% of the chips in a tournament you will only win 50% of the money.

ICM (Independent Chip Model) is also known as $eV (expected value), or more commonly, equity. In other words, it tells you how much you are worth in the tournament given the current stack sizes. In many scenarios you will find that a move that wins you chips will not necessarily increase your $eV by the same amount.

Enter all the stack sizes in the tournament, and this program calculates your current equity, and also illustrates how your stack size and $eV will change in various scenarios. This is designed with sit and gos in mind, for larger tournaments the payout structures vary widely.
